On track for an adventure of a lifetime with Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ Roadshow moved on again last week and at the same time changed its mode of travel from road to rail, well at least metaphorically speaking. Over 100 delegates including students from Uddingston Grammar school and St Roch’s Secondary School attended the Open up your world with Erasmus+ conference at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on Friday 8 September.

The day included a number of presentations and six platforms (workshops) as well as St Roch’s entertaining and enlightening Erasmus+ Family Fortunes (pictured right). Over the next few blogs we’ll be highlighting different aspects of the conference but let’s start by telling you about the European Knowledge Centre for Mobility (EUKCEM) – a one-stop-shop toolkit for mobility projects which is being designed, with the help of their European partners, by Clyde College Glasgow.

Jim Anderson’s, Head of External Funding at Glasgow Clyde College, presentation highlighted how this new Toolkit will become indispensable for anyone planning a key action 1 mobility project. Continuing the transport theme, the Toolkit has 3 main lines – Routes To Success. Line I is for organisations sending students, Line 2 is for those hosting students and Line 3 is all about the Beneficiaries. The Toolkit is aimed at staff and students and includes animations, information, good advice, checklists and much more, but the best way to see what a useful tool this is, is to have a look yourself – view the toolkit here http://eu-mobility.eu/eukcem1/
