The Student Awards Agency has announced that the upper age limit for eligibility for a student living cost loan is changing from age 55 to 60 later this year.

This means that eligible students under the age of 60 on the first day of the first academic year of their course (normally 1 August) will be able to apply for a living cost loan later this year, for academic session 2016-17, once legislation is amended to allow payment.

Further information is available.
