Beds needed for Coronavirus hospital

You will have heard that the NHS are setting up a temporary hospital in Glasgow SEC to combat the Coronavirus pandemic.

Our partners at NHS Education for Scotland have been in touch to ask for help with sourcing any hospital beds on a temporary basis from skills lab facilities.

If you have any beds, or if you know anyone that has any beds, which you can lend to this life-saving facility then NHS Education for Scotland would really like to hear from you. Transportation of the beds will be arranged so there is no need to worry about that.

The hospital is being set up within the next week, so please contact Karen Wilson, NES Director of NMAHP (Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions), as soon as you can.

If you think you can help, please email Karen Wilson: Karen.Wilson@nes.scot.nhs.uk
