We are delighted to launch the new Workforce Survey Analysis Report. The report details the key findings from the 2022 Workforce Survey undertaken by College Development Network (CDN).
The Workforce Survey was open to all members of the college workforce across Scotland, and we received an incredible 1,810 responses.
The purpose of the survey is to identify the future learning requirements of the workforce, and crucially how college staff want to learn.
The survey established views from across the Scottish college sector in relation to a range of topics including:
- Experiences of professional learning
- Digital capability
- Equality, diversity and inclusion
- Learning for sustainability
The virtual event CDN Workforce Survey 2022 – What did we find out? on Thursday 15 September, will explore the key findings from the Workforce Survey, and outline some key considerations for future professional learning planning, at both college and sector level.
The event will consist of a presentation of key findings from the survey, discussion relating to key themes, Q&A, and an optional workshop at the end of the presentation to discuss findings and next steps.
This will interest individuals involved in workforce development within the college sector, both in Scotland in addition to the rest of the UK.
Attend the event to:
- Understand the current picture across the Scottish sector in relation to professional learning
- Understand the perceived wants and needs from the Scottish college workforce
- Use the information shared to reflect on own practice and inform future professional learning.
