College Expo19

Success in a Changing World’

at Perth College UHI on Wednesday 12 – Thursday 13 June 2019

College Expo19 took place on Wednesday 12 – Thursday 13 June at Perth College UHI. College Expo is Scotland’s landmark event for everyone working, studying or involved in post-16 education and training. Free to attend, it is a celebration of college excellence, and our national focus for staff development and practical innovation.

This year, the overarching theme was ‘Success in a Changing World’ which was reflected across the two-day programme of inspirational keynotes, seminars, debate and hands-on professional learning.

Over the two days, delegates had the opportunity to participate in over 40 sessions, take part in the new ‘Skills in Action Area’ which showcased the work of talented students from across the country, and to interact with a great range of organisations through the exhibitor stands.

Jim Metcalfe, CEO at College Development Network (CDN) said: “College Expo19 was two fantastic days, with hundreds of colleagues including lecturers, managers, support staff and students participating in a wide range of activities. We are already starting our planning for next year”

Dr Margaret Cook, Principal at Perth College UHI said: “We’re delighted to be hosting College Expo19; it’s a great opportunity for everyone working, studying or involved in post-16 education and training to learn more, and celebrate the excellent work going on within the sector.”
