West College Scotland

A new college with a long history

West College Scotland is modern, ambitious and innovative.

Created on 1 August 2013 by the merger of Clydebank College, Reid Kerr College in Paisley and James Watt College in Greenock, the college has 30,000 students and 1,200 staff, making it one of the biggest educational institutions in the country. This large scale allows the college to provide greater choice to students, better facilities and enhanced services.

It is also an enterprising college, with partners from across the globe, including China, Vietnam, Finland and Brazil.

The college offers a huge range of courses – full-time, part-time, evening and distance learning – all designed to help students get a job, keep a job or get a better job and to help businesses with their training needs.

The college has 30,000 students and 1,200 staff, making it one of the biggest educational institutions in the country.
