Purpose of the Network
The CIAG CoP is a collaborative platform to bring together professionals delivering careers and employability support services within the Scottish FE sector. The aim is to enhance the provision of these services and help ensure consistency and sharing best practice and promote collective professional development.
Focus of This Session/Current Priorities
- Three scheduled meetings in academic year 25/26 and developing a Teams site to share knowledge, resources and create a platform for ongoing networking throughout the academic year.
- Contributing to Colleges Scotland responses to the Scottish Government Improving Careers Support project.
- Guest speakers to support the continuous professional development of the practitioners – Focus West and SCAPP were guest speakers at Sept’ 25 meeting.
Who May Wish to Attend
Career and Employability support practitioners from all FE colleges and managers, team-leaders and decision-makers within college careers and employability support services – we currently have 33 members from 16 colleges
