Purpose of the Network
The College Work-Based Learning Group (CWBLG) supports the effective management and delivery of Modern Apprenticeships and wider work-based learning across the college sector.
It is a collaborative, solution-focused network that provides a strategic voice for the sector, offering input to stakeholders on all aspects of Modern Apprenticeships, while supporting partnership working and sharing effective practice.
Focus of This Session/Current Priorities
- Delivering high-quality Modern Apprenticeships and work–based learning
- Contract management and compliance
- Strengthening partnerships with stakeholders including Skills Development Scotland and the Scottish Funding Council
- Sharing effective practice in apprenticeship delivery and work–based learning models
- Providing sector input to stakeholders on Modern Apprenticeship development and delivery
- Identifying emerging challenges and opportunities
