The Finance Network represents finance professionals from colleges all over Scotland. The Steering Group meets monthly and is made up of representatives from all college regions and a wide variety of colleges. An important part of the work is carried out within a range of established Short Life Working Groups (SLWG) and subsidiary groups.
As well as enabling members to get involved in discussing and analysing current and emerging issues, they represent a way of engaging with the wider membership of the community. The Steering Group also has representatives on a wide range of external forums and works proactively with relevant partner agencies to promote and further the interests of the Scottish College sector. Our aims:

- Provide an opportunity for discussion and networking
- Keep members informed of current good practice
- Seek to understand the role of finance within the sector
- Provide a channel of communication between the Development Network and stakeholders
- Organise events to facilitate these objectives
- Develop a sectoral approach to finance issues.
