Purpose of the Network
The Library and Information Services network provides a forum for staff responsible for the delivery of library and information services in colleges to share practice and engage with library sector organisations and current initiatives.
Focus of This Session/Current Priorities
- Engaging with new and existing training opportunities from Jisc and SLIC.
- Sharing practice in responding to the current challenges in the sector.
- The chair of the network is a board member of SLIC and represents the interests of the network on the board.
Who May Wish to Attend
Staff who work in library and information services roles in colleges and representatives of library sector organisations.
