Social Services

Purpose of the Network

Supports curriculum planning, development and delivery of social care courses in Scottish Colleges, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and meet the needs of the social care sector.

The care sector is constantly evolving and changing, as indicated by recent Scottish Government Initiatives, legislative changes, and the ongoing review of National Occupational Standards. Digital approaches to supporting health , social and wellbeing are becoming increasingly relevant. The Network provides opportunities for members to share practice, help shape these developments, and remain informed for the benefit of their curriculum and our social care workforce.
