Choose College Campaigns
The main aim of the national Choose College is to highlight the importance of Scotland’s colleges and encourage potential students to – Choose College.
Scotland’s 26 colleges have come together with one voice to support the new campaign and share positive stories of how vital colleges are to the educational, economic and community health of the country. Colleges will also show how they support industry to upskill and retrain their workers.
2021
The first phase of the 2021 campaign focused on a collaborative six-week digital campaign. The campaign finished on Friday 16 April, and was a great success, with Twitter statistics recording 3,153 mentions, 8,810,377 impressions and an estimated reach of 1,737,084! Thank you to everyone who got involved.
The second phase of the 2021 campaign focused on the inaugural Choose College Virtual Showcase, which took place on Wednesday 26 May. Colleges from all over Scotland came together on one virtual platform to showcase all that colleges have to offer!
The latest phase of the campaign focuses on a mini four-week Choose College Digital Campaign starting Monday 2 August. The aim of this campaign is to encourage last minute applications and to encorage potential students to Choose College!
At the end of November 2021, we launched week long digital campaign #LoveScotlandsColleges. The campaign highlighted the importance and strength of Scotland’s colleges, promoting examples, both national and local, of how colleges support students, the economy, businesses, communities and staff.
2022
The Choose College social media campaign lasted six weeks, starting on Monday 30 May 2022 and concluding on Friday 8 July 2022.
Our collaborative #LoveScotlandsColleges campaign launched on Monday 13 February 2023. The week long campaign achieved over 6 million impressions over the 5 day period – an increase of 27.5% on the previous campaign!
