One of the biggest challenges for FE colleges, particularly within the Computing & Creative Media subject area, is establishing sustained and meaningful work placements for students. After a string of failed attempts to place students within Digital Media companies throughout Dundee, Dundee & Angus College decided to take a radical new approach by flipping the model and bringing the industry into the college. By offering residency to a local Digital Media company – Terrier Studios – it opened up a new world to the staff and students of the college as well as the company itself.
