Find and Organise Digital Content

Some say that we are living in the Information Age where technology has transformed the transmission, processing, and transmission of data. With the knowledge of the world only a click away, it’s more important than ever that we learn how to navigate and interact with the information around us.

One powerful aspect of the Age is the rise in the number of authors who contribute to information available to us online. So many sources means that we often need to make a judgement on the reliability and validity of what we find. And the more that we accumulate, the more critical it becomes that we can efficiently organise the content we store for quick retrieval.

Baseline digital skills include being able to:

  • use appropriate keywords with a search engine to find information
  • organise files and folders in a clear way
  • upload and manage files within an online platform
