Location: Stirling, however home working will be considered

CDN is responsible for building the workforce across Scottish colleges, ensuring educational inclusion and economic opportunity for hundreds of thousands of citizens.

Colleges will be at the forefront of leading the nation’s recovery from the Covid-19 challenge and CDN is at the heart of reimagining how colleges will organise, teach, support students and lead in these fast-changing times.

To help us succeed in this critical role, we are looking for maternity cover for our Head of Leadership, Governance and Research.

This position is responsible for ensuring the Strategic Leaders objectives within the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) Outcome Agreement are successfully achieved. This includes further developing and enhancing our Governance Training programme while ensuring a Next Generation Leadership programme is developed and implemented.

As a driven professional, you will work closely with a Lead and a Manager, as well as a range of external Associates and service providers to ensure our programmes and services are highly effective, engaging and desirable to a diverse range of customers/stakeholders. From a leadership stance, you will ensure the Leadership, Governance and Research team continually develops and delivers innovative learning and teaching and develops services and resources in line with sector needs.
