Our new three-year strategy will be launched over the summer, so it is an exciting time to join CDN’s Board. We will be growing our core services, income-generating activities, and building upon our partnerships with many other organisations and agencies.
We are a small but high-performing organisation headquartered on the University of Stirling’s campus. We engage with colleagues and partners across Scotland and beyond. Our high profile and experienced Board of Directors would like to welcome a new independent member to join us as we take the next steps in our growth and development.
Prior board level experience is not a pre-requisite for the role – enthusiasm, creativity, and an interest in skills and education are. Applicants from all backgrounds will be considered equally, and we particularly encourage applications from under-represented groups (women, those with disabilities, ethnic minorities, LGBTQI+ and young people).

Board members would be expected to attend five meetings each year. At present the majority of our meetings are held online, with any face-to-face meetings planned well in advance and fully expensed.

The current Chair retires on 31 August and the Board, from within their group, will elect a new Chair, with all Board members being eligible for nomination.
