National Research and Improvement Manager

£40k-£50k (dependent on experience), plus excellent benefits

Location: Stirling, however home working will be considered

CDN is responsible for building the workforce across Scottish colleges, ensuring educational inclusion and economic opportunity for hundreds of thousands of citizens.

Colleges will be at the forefront of leading the nation’s recovery from the Covid-19 challenge and CDN is at the heart of reimagining how colleges will organise, teach, support students and lead in these fast-changing times.
To help us succeed in this critical role, we want to bring an outstanding colleague into our high-achieving and collaborative team.

The National Research and Improvement Manager will champion and support national research and performance enhancement activities across a range of different disciplines in Scotland’s colleges.

This is a new post with an opportunity to build CDN’s national research and improvement provision. Working with the CDN team and key stakeholders you will lead on the development and delivery of a range of collaborative services, research projects and resources to support performance enhancement activities.

We are looking for someone who is hugely passionate about education and our colleges. A highly driven, positive and solutions-focussed person that understands the importance of collaboration in delivering success.

You will be an outstanding communicator, effective problem solver and multi-tasker, and have significant influencing and project management skills to ensure both buy in, and effective development and delivery of projects and programmes.
