College Development Network (CDN) is a key college sector agency, we provide professional learning and development for college staff across Scotland. We have huge reach into the college sector and last year over 4,200 delegates attended CDN events.
Our services are shaped by the needs of the sector and Scottish Government’s strategic priorities. Working with partners, CDN has a key remit to turn policy into effective practice.
Our new strategic framework is clustered around three aims:
– We work to improve the quality of teaching and support for learners by developing the skills and expertise of our lecturers and support staff.
– We invest in the strategic vision and performance of college education, by developing great emerging leaders and excellent governance structures in colleges and beyond.
– We are a catalyst for sector innovation, by networking colleges and showcasing their expertise, connecting industry and education to boost economic growth, and empowering partnerships that join up the learner journey.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CDN as a Lead, focusing on developing and delivering our highly ambitious leadership programme.
Working with the Head of Leadership and Governance you will lead on the development and delivery of the Strategic Leaders objectives within the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) Outcome Agreement as highlighted in CDN’s Strategic Plan. In addition, you will also develop and deliver other funded and commercial projects which are out with the Outcome Agreement and support an agreed number of CDN Development Networks and Forums.
As a driven professional, you will work closely with the wider team, a range of external Associates and service providers to ensure our programmes and services are highly effective, engaging, ambitious, and desirable to a diverse range of customers/stakeholders.
