Course Overview
2024/2025 Academic Year
The Coaching Skills for Managers Programme is a specialised course tailored to empower managers with effective coaching strategies for leadership and team development. This programme is designed with pre-course work, two immersive face-to-face workshops, and tailored activities to be undertaken between workshops.
Course Structure
1. Pre-Course Work:
- Complete activities including reflecting on your Leadership Journey, considering your Leadership Brand, completing a Coaching Competencies self-assessment and DISC profile.
- Familiarise yourself with coaching principles and frameworks to lay the groundwork for the upcoming workshops.
2. Face-to-Face Workshops:

- Building Trust and Rapport
- Emotional Intelligence
- Coaching Models
- Skills and Competencies

3. Inter-Workshop Activities:
- Apply coaching techniques in real-world managerial scenarios.
- Collaborate with peers through online discussions to share insights and best practices.

Who Should Attend
This program is designed for current and aspiring managers, team leaders, and individuals in leadership roles who seek to enhance their coaching skills and drive team performance.
Modes of Delivery/Course Fees
This two-day face-to-face course is open to participants from across the sector and is delivered in the Central Belt, Scotland. The course fee is £250 per participant, which includes all the materials, and CDN certificates.
Alternatively, if you prefer a more customized and convenient option, you can opt for our be-spoke delivery, where our experienced facilitator will come to your college and deliver the course to an internal group of staff. This way, you can save on travel costs and tailor the course to your specific needs and context, for only £3500 for 15 participants.
