Funding Opportunity: Mentor an Overseas College Cluster

The British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, has an excellent opportunity for a UK-based Further Education College or Training Organisation that is looking to build a network and capacity to work globally.

You can now apply for four new British Council-facilitated mentoring partnership opportunities in four countries around the world to run from September 2020 to September 2021. The college clusters to be mentored are in Botswana, Mauritius, Vietnam and Pakistan.

Mentoring partnerships will be facilitated remotely and will focus on the theme of private sector engagement.

Building on a tried-and-tested and highly successful initial mentoring partnership between Hertford Regional College in the UK and colleges in Vietnam, we are delighted to announce four new British Council-facilitated mentoring partnership opportunities in four countries around the world to run from September 2020 to September 2021.

The successful institutions will be matched and partnered with a cluster of four colleges/institutions overseas to provide mentoring support for 12 months. The cluster will produce a joint action plan to work to during this time and complete a self-evaluation report.

The British Council locally and in the UK will provide ongoing advice and guidance throughout the partnership to help facilitate the communications and deliver maximum benefit.

1. Hanoi Industrial Vocational College

3. Kien Giang Vocational College
4. Korea Vocational Technology College of Bacgiang (VKTECH)
